mountain that erupted violently during the morning of August 24, AD 79, unceremoniously removing all surrounding cities within a X radius of Vesuvius, from the face
of the earth. Since then, Vesuvius has erupted about three dozen times. The most recent eruption from 1913-1944 was thought to be the end of an eruptive cycle that
began in 1631, however unpredictably the last eruption of Vesuvius was on 23 November 1980 that killed over 3,000 people. View the crater of Vesuvius, 1281 meters
above sea level, by walking for approximately 45 minutes up the steep mount, as the road for vehicles terminates half way up this climb.

Herculaneum-is an ancient residential town of Greek origins, destroyed and buried in ashes, together with Pompeii, by the eruption of the volcano Vesuvius in 79 A.D. that also offers a variety of beautiful
scenery and invaluable arts. Excavations began by accident in 1709 when some workers were digging a well - they discovered a wall which was later found to be one of the stages of the ancient theatre.
Later, there were many human skeletons uncovered at the ancient shoreline, suggesting that numerous inhabitants attempted to escape but perished when mountains collapsed and volcanic gases were
released.

Private Excursion to Paestum & Buffalo Mozzarella Factory - 9 Hrs (Available Everyday)
Paestum- can often be deserted, the gleaming white marble ancient Greek temples that date back to the 6th century BC, set against the dark brown hills
and deep blue sea, provide a uniquely Greek experience in Italy. Today preserved is the temple of Hera II (once believed to be the Temple of Poseidon) is
one of three temples. (See also the temple of Hera I) Part of the interior is a colonnade with two rows of columns, including the superimposed upper
level which supported the roof, therefore illustrates the standard Doric form: 6 columns on the end and 14 columns on the side. We recommend hiring a
2 hour guide for the sites and visit an archaeological museum in the vicinity, with a rich collection of Greek art and antiquities.
Later take a visit to the Buffalo Mozzarella Factory where you will tour the factory and see how Water buffaloes have thrived in this lush swath of

Private Hiking Excursions (Available Everyday)
This coastline has mountain paths originally used by pilgrims and merchants which are still in
excellent condition. They weave their magical way through unspoiled Mediterranean coastal
flora and fauna, which contrast with more rugged areas of Limestone grottos and rock
formation. The best known one of these paths is called the “Path of the of the Gods” because
of its fantastic position half way between the sky and the sea. It rises on average at around
500 metres above sea level. The view is incomparable when seen from Praiano and Positano.
The vista spans to one side, as far as the island of Capri, and the Cilento region on the other.
It is because of our deep love and passion for these mountains and the hope of preserving
their existing natural treasures that we desire to share their beauty with our visitors. For an
unforgettable day, all you need is: comfortable shoes suitable for bushwalking, a camera and
love for walks in the open air.

Angelo a 3 Pizzi, Punta Campanella and Capri.
